Pachmela Dal Rajasthani Style
Ingredients:

Tbsp moong Daal
1 Tbsp Urad Dal
2 Tbsp Channa Dal
3 Tbsp Toor Dal
2 Tbsp Green Gram Dal
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp sugar
2 Tbsp ghee or Butter
1 tsp cumin seeds
Pinch of asafoetida(Optional)
1/2 tsp onion seeds
1 tsp ginger-finely chopped
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp amchoor powder(Optional)
1 Tbsp coriander leaves-chopped
1 Tbsp Urad Dal

Method:
1.
Cook the dals for 20 minutes. When they are well cooked, add salt and turmeric powder and keep it aside.
2. Heat ghee or butter, add the cumin seeds, cloves, cardamom and Bay leaves
3. When the seeds splutter, add onions, ginger and saute to a light brown colour.
4. Add the coriander powder, chilli powder and the amchoor powder, followed by
the cooked daals, blend it well.
5. Bring to a boil and then simmer for about 5-10 minutes.

6. Garnished with coriander leaves.
7. Serve hot with Naan, Basmati rice or Poori.
